… For the delivery for Wednesday, 1st December, 2021 that never was

… For the maternity photoshoot for Sunday, 28th November, 2021 that never was

… For the regret of Naa Ameley’s birth on Thursday, 25th November, 2021 never felt 

Born “exactly a month” to Christmas 

Our hearts are set on fire for her

We praise God for the many moments of silence ahead 

Birthed by the joys of having her as she is

Beautiful, adored, perfect… 

A moment of silence 

As she rests in between suckles

As she makes my heart buckle 

For the love I have for her

A moment of silence 

As the world rests still and easy

As she’s burped so calm and sleepy 

After ripping more cells apart 😂

A moment of silence 

In the pains that are so worth it

In our “families” that get to share it 

For the joys that know no bounds

A moment of silence

As we reflect on this whole journey 

Forgive… just pockets of this journey 

And how we wondered if it’d ever start

A moment of silence 

In the calm assurance of God’s glory

As we get to tell yet another story

Of His love, His touch, His heart

A moment of silence 

As we care not about tomorrow 

Nor consider future sorrows

Because our God *IS* with us

A moment of silence 

As we sing to God, our Father

Praising our Lord, our “Piesie” Brother

Thanking the Spirit in our hearts

A moment of silence 

In awe of God’s creations

His power in all situations 

His kiss upon our lives

A moment of silence
